Schlegel Park Pool is one of the largest public pools in Berks County.  Daily or seasonal passes may be purchased.  Offered amenities include: large recreational pool, pickleball court, basketball court, pavilion, picnic tables, benches and concession stand.

12:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m., May 24-May 26
12:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m., May 31-June 1
12:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m., June 7 - August 3 (Open every day)
12:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m., August 4-August 24 (Open every day)
12:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m., August 30-September 1(Labor Day weekend)

The pool will be closed June 2-6, August 25-August 29.

Note:  Should the pool reach capacity, members will be granted priority entry in advance of a daily paying customer when space becomes available.

Membership Fee (Individual Season Pass) -Proof of residency required.

Ages 4-9

$80.00 resident, $160.00 non-resident

Ages 10-61 

$105.00 resident, $210.00 non-resident

62 & over

$75.00 resident, $125.00 non-resident

 

Membership Fee (Family Season Pass) -Proof of city residency required.

Family of 4 (max of 2 over 18 years old)   

$275.00 resident, $400.00 non-resident

Each additional child

Replacement of lost card

This team is part of BCSA (Berks County Swim Association) Ages: 18 & under 

Este equipo es parte de BCSA (Asociación de Natación del Condado de Berks) Edades: 18 años y menores
(Children must be experienced swimmers and be able to confidently swim one lap)
Evaluations will begin on Thursday June 6, 2024 at Schlegel PoolTime TBD

Practices
*Group A:  10:00a.m.- 11:30a.m. 
*Group B:  11:00a.m.- 11:45a.m.
*Times may vary depending on number of swimmers

 There is no charge for this league for any child registered for Schlegel park swim camp.
 All others $70.00

 Swim meet dates:  Meets begin at 6pm, children should arrive at 5:30 for warm ups.

The form must be returned to Chelsie via email chelsie.oneil@Readingpa.gov or return to the 3rd & Spruce Rec Office Mon-Fri 9:00am-5:00pm. 

POOL PAVILION RENTAL

Rent the pool pavilion during regular pools hours.
Cost:  $75/day members ($75/security deposit), $150/day non-member ($150/security deposit)
Guests are still required to pay daily admission fee.
